Who We Are
Kevin Smith – Managing Director
Kevin started our mother company Arc Interiors back in 2006. Arc has grown to address the needs of the dental industry and from that DCD has been born. Kevin has over 20 years in the industry and hopes to grow DCD to a nationwide scale.
Stuart Smith – CAD Specialist
Stuart came on board with Arc in 2007; he is now joining the DCD team and will be designing CAD diagrams tailored to the client’s requirements. Stuart has almost 20 years in the industry and will be helping to take DCD that step further with his knowledge and training in bespoke CAD designs.
Freya Tildesley – Sales & Admin
Freya has helped to pioneer the start of DCD following only a year with our mother company Arc. Freya will be handling customer enquiries, quotes and planning in installation dates. She will be the point of contact for all customer relations.
How DCD Started
Kevin & Stuart have been manufacturing and installing dental cabinetry and worktops since 2009, working alongside national distributors, manufacturing and installing surgery cabinets & worktops. With the introduction of HTM01-05 they began installing sterilisation rooms with Eshmann as Decon 360. 2011 we moved our operation from Somerset back to Halesowen in the West Midlands.
From which our mother company Arc Interior Solutions Limited.
Arc has consistently worked with the needs of the industry, from providing small important repairs, single room refurbs, to building state of the art dental practices up to 23 treatment rooms or 900 Sq metres. To which now we have introduced DCD;
The cabinetry and worktops have always been produced in house, as this always facilitated full control over the project.
So for 2026 our cabinetry and worktops will be offered to the Dental trade Direct from our factory.
How DCD Work
Every enquiry will have an initial design.
Once an order is placed, service drawings will be provided.
Final survey will be confirmed and an installation booked.
It really is that easy!!!
DCD Looking After the Environment
We offer complete peace of mind throughout the entire manufacturing process. By producing all of our products in-house, we maintain exceptional control and flexibility at every stage.
We are deeply committed to our environmental responsibilities. At our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, landfill waste is kept to an absolute minimum thanks to a significant investment of nearly £250,000 in an advanced waste management system. Sawdust is automatically extracted directly from cutting machines, while other materials are shredded and conveyed to a furnace that generates hot air to heat the factory.
